Obtains detail quotes for all Hospital Departments. Performs other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Completes assigned goals</p> <p>Facilitates the ordering process by creating Purchase Orders for end users of product(s).</p> <p>Follows up on overdue orders.</p> <p>Resolves Invoice Discrepancies.</p> <p>Researches savings opportunities.</p> <p>Processes requests for new vendors / items.</p> <p>Performs related accountability/responsibilities as required or directed.</p> <p>Completes assigned goals.</p> <p>Requirements, Preferences and Experience</p> <p>Education</p> <p>Preferred: Associate Degree</p> <p>Minimum: Associate Degree or equivalent experience</p> <p>Experience</p> <p>Preferred: 2 years prior experience in medical purchasing.</p> <p>Minimum: 1 Year prior experience in Medical Purchasing.</p> <p>Licensure, Registration, Certification</p> <p>Minimum: DRIVER'S LICENSE (CURRENT)</p> <p>Special Skills</p> <p>Preferred: Skill and proficiency in oral and written communications, purchasing concepts, and Microsoft Office software</p> <p>Minimum: Purchasing concepts and Microsoft Office software</p>
