<p>Overview:</p> <p>The role provides high-level administrative, analytical, and project support to the Head of Wealth & Planning and Trust Services and plays a key role in supporting senior leaders.</p> <p>The position works independently under general supervision. This position interacts with internal partners, external custodians, external advisors, and clients.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Executive & Administrative Support</p> <ul> <li>Provide direct administrative support to the Head of Wealth & Planning and Trust Services, including complex calendar management, travel coordination, and expense management. </li><li>Support senior leadership through preparation of materials, meeting coordination, and follow-up actions. </li><li>Interact regularly with the Wealth Leadership Team and internal partners across Wealth Management. </li></ul> <p>Research, Analysis & Family Office Support</p> <ul> <li>Conduct research and identify relevant articles, industry trends, and data; summarize findings for leadership review. </li><li>Assist with Family Office analyst responsibilities, including data analysis, reporting, and ad hoc analytical support. </li><li>Support the overall delivery and enhancement of the virtual family office platform and related systems. </li></ul> <p>Projects & Process Improvement</p> <ul> <li>Provide support on departmental initiatives, strategic projects, and continuous process improvement efforts. </li><li>Assist in developing presentations and materials for leadership using PowerPoint and related tools. </li><li>Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to enhance research, analysis, and productivity where appropriate. </li></ul> <p>Risk, Compliance & Controls</p> <ul> <li>Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in alignment with the Company's Risk Appetite. </li><li>Identify and escalate risk-related issues to management as appropriate. </li><li>Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points and addressing issues raised by regulators. </li></ul> <p>Culture & Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Promote an inclusive environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand. </li><li>Collaborate effectively with internal partners and thrive in a team-oriented environment. </li></ul> <p>Scope of Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Works independently under general supervision. </li><li>Regularly interacts with internal partners and senior leadership across Wealth Management. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required; or, in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of four (4) years of higher education and/or relevant work experience. </li><li>Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including advanced PowerPoint skills. </li><li>Proficiency using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT). </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities with strong attention to detail. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills with proven success in collaborative team environments. </li></ul> <p>M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $24.87 - $41.45 Hourly (USD).
