<p>Summary:</p> <p>This role will be part of our Wholesale Team. The task is winning asset shipments in a spot environment. Here, we will be selling our asset capacity to brokers on a daily basis. You will interface with our operating teams to ensure we have a clear vision of the needs of the truck for the day and find the most ideal, highest paying load available.</p> <p>Essential Functions/Specific Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to understand current spot markets </li><li>Track all broker loads provided to the asset teams </li><li>Provide clear communication between all internal and external parties </li><li>Collect and manage all broker load accessorials </li><li>Achieve or exceed company profitability goals </li><li>Ability to learn and understand asset network </li><li>Fill empty asset capacity by providing efficient backhauls </li></ul> <p>Skills Required for Success:</p> <ul> <li>Organization </li><li>Conflict Resolution (internal and external) </li><li>Negotiation </li><li>Time Management </li><li>Communication </li><li>Market Knowledge </li><li>Adaptable to change </li><li>Computer Literacy </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>1 year of transportation experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
