Start Every Day Right.</p> <p>QUICK FACTS</p> <p>Location: South Madison - 3201 Latham Drive, Madison, WI</p> <p>Pay: $16.21/hour</p> <p>Schedule: Casual (6 hours/week), Part Year</p> <p>Daily Hours: Tuesday-Friday 2:45-4:15 pm</p> <ul> <li>Part Year includes built-in summer break, 2 weeks winter break, and spring break </li></ul> <p>WHAT WE OFFER</p> <p>Work-Life Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Flexible part-time schedule (6 hours/week) </li><li>School calendar with seasonal breaks </li><li>Entry-level opportunity with professional development support </li><li>Meaningful role ensuring children's safety and positive transportation experience </li></ul> <p>Professional Growth</p> <ul> <li>Intro to Childcare training provided </li><li>Pediatric CPR certification pathway (within 6 months) </li><li>Bus aide training and professional development opportunities </li><li>Career entry point into early childhood field </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS YOU'LL NEED</p> <ul> <li>Age: Minimum 18 years old </li><li>Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred </li><li>Training: Complete Intro to Childcare within 6 months of hire; Pediatric CPR within 6 months </li><li>Physical Requirements: Dexterity, coordination, mobility, visual acuity to lift and/or restrain children of varying sizes </li><li>Professional Competencies: Cultural sensitivity, ability to address needs of children with disabilities </li><li>Experience: Working with low-income, multicultural families </li><li>Knowledge: Basic first aid </li><li>Language: Bilingual in Spanish and/or Hmong desired </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU'LL DO</p> <p>As a Bus Aide, you'll ensure safe transportation by:</p> <ul> <li>Assisting with daily pick-up and delivery of children on bus routes </li><li>Providing developmentally appropriate transportation experiences for young children </li><li>Ensuring all children are safe during boarding, riding, and exiting </li><li>Maintaining clean and sanitary bus interior environment </li><li>Supporting children with disabilities during transportation </li><li>Building positive relationships with children and families </li><li>Participating in required training and professional development </li></ul> <p>WHO WE ARE</p> <p>At Reach Dane, we're reimagining early childhood education as a powerful tool for social transformation.
