<p>The Onboarding Coordinator is part of a larger Training team supporting and influencing the Tesla culture at Gigafactory Nevada. A successful Onboarding Coordinator will be approachable, outgoing and exudes the Tesla mission in all facets. Our ideal Onboarding Coordinator embodies the Tesla culture and the individualistic approach to training a diverse group of talented individuals.</p> <ul> <li>Facilitate production process training, new hire onboarding, coordinate with leads on training plans, schedules, new/cross training; Emphasize safety, quality, productivity </li><li>Work hands-on in production to understand processes and improve training. Relay updated processes and documentation </li><li>In-depth knowledge of MOS transactions to track production processes. Ensure ISO 9001 compliance </li><li>Identify quality/safety issues, suggest improvements, monitor certification system, and apply continuous improvement strategies </li><li>Learn new skills, keep updated on process revisions, cross-train for flexibility and efficiency </li><li>Audit for training compliance and adherence to instructions </li><li>Use LMS to track, assign, and report on training; Use Outlook to communicate; Promote continuous training improvement </li><li>3+ years production experience, 1-2 years training experience preferred </li><li>Knowledge of production processes and methodology </li><li>Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, proficient in MS Office, familiar with continuous improvement methodologies, demonstrates leadership, accountability and understanding of adult learning principles </li><li>Able to stand/walk for extended periods, go up/down stairs, lift up to 50 lbs., perform repetitive physical motions </li><li>Potential exposure to confined spaces and hazardous materials </li><li>Able to wear required PPE and adhere to safety rules and guidelines </li><li>Must have command of English language, both written and verbal </li></ul>
