Schedule: Monday-Friday (no weekends); hours may vary.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>Responsibilities include reviewing, verifying and updating patient demographic and insurance information, collecting patient payments, resolving registration-related edits and acting as a liaison between clinics and patients.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <p>Access scheduled appointments through work queues to review and correct registration-related issues. Interact with patients in person, on phone and in email communication. Review, confirm and update demographic and insurance information with patients. Receive and process payments from patients for pre-determined deposits, co-payments, deductibles and self-pay payments and provide receipts. Prepare, reconcile and close daily cash drawer at end of shift. Direct all patients seeking financial assistance to the Financial Coordinators. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all patient matters and secure all patient information. Assist internal customers in tasks necessary to ensure complete patient satisfaction and revenue assurance.
