<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Custodial/Maintenance/Maintenance General</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>5/6/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Mariemont City School District</p> <p>Date Available:</p> <p>Upon acceptance letter</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>05/30/2025</p> <p>District:</p> <p>  Mariemont School District  Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Position</p> <p>Maintenance Worker</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Proficiency in utilizing various maintenance equipment. </li><li>Training in carpentry, plumbing, glazing, electrical work, or general construction/custodial skills are highly desirable. </li><li>Must be comfortable using technology to support maintenance operations, including digital work order systems, mobile maintenance apps, inventory management software, and basic computer tasks such as email, data entry, and online training modules. </li><li>Good physical condition for performing tasks requiring manual labor. </li><li>Proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment relevant to maintenance duties. </li><li>Valid Ohio Driver's License. </li><li>Must pass criminal background check. </li></ul> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <p>NOTE: The responsibilities below are not ranked in order of importance.</p> <p>? Maintain safe and compliant environment by adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations</p> <p>? Assume primary responsibility for safe maintenance of respective equipment/structures</p> <p>? Assist with implementation of preventive maintenance program for respective area</p> <p>? Follow all purchasing and inventory guidelines for respective area</p> <p>? Maintain clean and orderly work area and/or assigned vehicle</p> <p>? Follow oral/written instructions, including technical manuals, charts, and trade terms</p> <p>? Exhibit courteous and appropriate behavior when in the company of children and adults</p> <p>? Perform high quality work with honesty and trustworthiness, without close supervision</p> <p>? Maintain punctual and consistent work habits and attendance</p> <p>? Be willing to occasionally work unusual hours in crises, or other special situations</p> <p>? Responsible for upkeep of facilities and grounds</p> <p>? Ability to inspect buildings and equipment and to troubleshoot basic repairs</p> <p>? Ability to read, analyze, and apply building blueprints or equipment manuals</p> <p>? Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician</p> <p>? Performs lawn cutting, landscaping, snow removal, and other similar jobs as needed</p> <p>? Performs various duties related to athletic fields and facilities</p> <p>? Work collaboratively with coworkers</p> <p>? Possess intellectual, sensory, emotional, and physical abilities necessary to safely perform duties</p> <p>? Drive safely, and be able to occasionally lift and carry objects which exceed fifty (50) pounds, and frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to twenty-five (25) pounds</p> <p>? Drive a variety of vehicles; push, pull, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp, talk, hear, climb and crawl</p> <p>? Work on ladders and lifts; comply with all safety rules and obtain any certifications required</p> <p>? Work in extreme temperatures, tolerate dust, chemicals and other substances and environmental conditions associated with maintenance work</p> <p>?
