<p>Human Resources Generalist (Full-Time, In-Person) - Missouri Athletic Club</p> <p>Seize this opportunity to join one of the top private clubs in the United States! Established in 1903, the Missouri Athletic Club's mission is to create extraordinary experiences in all aspects of club life in the spirit of excellence, service, and tradition.</p> <p>We invite you to join our team as an experienced Human Resources Generalist. This position is primarily located at our downtown location, with occasional duties at our Town & Country and Clayton locations as needed, including covering vacations or leaves. As part of our hospitality-driven team, you'll enjoy generous benefits and various events.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Recruit and interview prospective applicants for employment. </li><li>Handle employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and recommend solutions. </li><li>Provide support and information to employees on HR related topics such as leaves and benefits. </li><li>Perform various administrative and operational duties requiring considerable judgement, analysis, and detailed knowledge of MAC policies and procedures. </li><li>Consult and coach managers on performance issues and talent development needs. </li><li>Support HR team - Assist with HR research, reporting/analytics, surveys, annual filings, census requests, benefits administration, and other duties as assigned. </li><li>Champion HR initiatives by leading and promoting key HR projects and initiatives that enhance employee engagement, development, and overall workplace culture, ensuring these initiatives align with Club values and contribute to a positive working environment. </li><li>Assist in the development, implementation, and fair administration of policies and procedures. </li><li>Promote employee engagement by planning and executing social events that nurture a positive working environment and foster a culture of engagement, recognition, and collaboration. </li><li>Investigate and process work-related accidents. </li><li>Manage sensitive and confidential matters like employee relations, medical information, and organizational changes. </li><li>Play an integral role in HR-led committees, like the wellness and safety committee. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business-related field or HR discipline desirable. </li><li>Knowledge of HR laws and regulations. </li><li>Proven experience in an HR generalist role or similar position. </li><li>Experience working with an HRIS, specifically ADP, preferred. </li><li>Strong communication, verbal, and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to exercise good judgement, demonstrate problem solving skills, and multi-task effectively. </li><li>Professional appearance and a welcoming, approachable demeanor. </li></ul> <p>Compensation and Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary. </li><li>Paid vacation, sick, holidays. bereavement leave, volunteer time off. </li><li>Complimentary meals. </li><li>Comprehensive health, dental, vision insurance. </li><li>Club-paid life Insurance, AD&D, Short Term Disability. </li><li>Retirement Plan: 401k Savings & Investment Plan with employer matching. </li></ul>
