Your career awaits at Residences at Vantage Point.</p> <p>SERVER</p> <p>STATUS: Non-Exempt, hourly, part-time, less than 30 hours</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Dining Service Manager & Director of Dining Services</p> <p>GENERAL SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Server is responsible for table service in the community dining rooms ( Bistro, Pub & other dining venues when needed).</p> <p>Primary Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Assists in maintaining a high level of customer service for our residents and their guests. </li><li>Sets tables and maintains workstations in proper order. </li><li>Takes orders, provides service and requested items both graciously and courteously. </li><li>Clears dishes from tables during and after meal service. </li><li>Answers pertinent questions about menu items. </li><li>Keep work areas clean and orderly. </li><li>Maintain neat and clean appearance and practice good personal hygiene </li><li>Complete opening and/or closing side work in a timely manner. </li><li>Can be relied upon to be at work on time. </li><li>Follows established time clock procedures as per department guidelines. Requires courtesy, tact and graciousness.</p> <p>Wears appropriate black non-slip footwear.</p> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:</p> <p>Works indoors; must be able to stand/walk for 100% of the work day; must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. independently; Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and balance frequently throughout the workday. Must be able to see, hear, and speak.</p> <p>Hourly rate: $16.00/hr</p>
