<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Community Education/Activity Leader</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>8/5/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Community Education Campus</p> <p>  Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Position:</p> <p>Activity Leader</p> <p>Hours:</p> <p>7 hours per day</p> <p>5 days a week</p> <p>12 months</p> <p>Salary:</p> <p>Class III starting at $17.99 per hour</p> <p>Required Experience:</p> <p>Previous experience working with school age youth in a leadership role.</p> <p>Planning program activities experience</p> <p>Preferred Experience:</p> <p>Post Secondary coursework in education or related area</p> <p>Experience working with diverse families</p> <p>Inclusion or special needs experience</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise, plan and implement daily activities (gym, arts & crafts, music, etc) for preschool or elementary youth </li><li>Must be comfortable with supervising groups of students (up to 15 students) </li><li>Assist Youth and Family Coordinator in day-to-day responsibilities of managing site </li><li>Provide leadership with other program responsibilities including snack, paperwork, discipline, communication, and other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>Bloomington Public Schools offers a variety of benefits to help take care of employees' health and well-being.
