<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Workday HCM Engineer in Lehi, UT.</p> <p>Summary: As a Senior Workday HCM Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping and advancing our HR technology strategy. This position goes beyond day-to-day system support-you will own the design, optimization, and governance of Workday across multiple domains, driving innovation and aligning technology with our long-term business goals. The role combines deep technical expertise, strategic problem-solving, and leadership to ensure our HR platforms are secure, scalable, and delivering value to the business.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the subject matter expert across multiple Workday modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking </li><li>Define and manage the Workday roadmap, aligning system improvements with HR strategy and organizational priorities </li><li>Act as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders, identifying opportunities to optimize processes and leading high-impact projects from concept to implementation </li><li>Architect and maintain integrations using tools such as EIBs, Core Connectors, and RaaS to ensure seamless connectivity between Workday and third-party systems </li><li>Troubleshoot complex integration issues, ensuring data accuracy, performance, and reliability across platforms </li><li>Technical Consultation & Cross-Functional Collaboration </li><li>Lead the technical design and requirements gathering for new Workday initiatives </li><li>Partner with IT, HR, Finance, and other business units to deliver scalable solutions to complex challenges </li><li>Oversee tenant lifecycle management, ensuring systems are properly maintained and aligned with evolving business needs </li><li>Continuously evaluate and refine Workday processes, reports, integrations, and user interfaces to enhance efficiency and usability </li><li>Manage change initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new features and practices* 5+ years of Workday HCM experience, including configuration, implementation, and optimization </li><li>Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex projects </li><li>Strong proficiency with Workday integration tools (EIBs, Core Connectors, RaaS) </li><li>Proven track record of designing, testing, and deploying integrations to support critical HR processes </li><li>Expertise in multiple Workday modules (experience in Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting strongly preferred) </li><li>Broad understanding of the HR technology ecosystem, including integrations with Benefits, Recruiting, and Payroll </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions </li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, build consensus, and present solutions to leadership </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Workday Pro or Workday Partner certifications </li><li>Experience with Workday Studio or Workday Financials </li><li>Background in Workday consulting or formal implementation projects </li></ul>
