Buffett, acquired Precision Castparts Corp.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>PURPOSE</p> <p>Solve critical manufacturing challenges as a key member of the Ogden Facilities/Maintenance Team. We provide robust solutions to produce exacting parts for the aerospace industry. You will be depended upon for sound project management, critical infrastructure improvements, and</p> <p>technical expertise pertaining to industrial equipment.</p> <p>SENIOR CONTROLS ENGINEER</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee general industrial controls projects to support production </li><li>Program & support industrial PLCs and control systems </li><li>Manage & execute capital projects from start to finish </li><li>Develop specifications for custom industrial controls equipment </li><li>Develop and adhere to project timetables and budgets </li><li>Write and submit documentation for capital project funding </li><li>Quote & work with purchasing to procure equipment </li><li>Direct installation of equipment and processes </li><li>Provide after-installation equipment support and program improvements </li><li>Assist other PCC engineering teams on solving controls-based process problems </li><li>Create project presentation content for engineering management </li><li>Maintain software change logs for PLCs and other programmable hardware </li><li>Work directly with varied teams with unique goals to successfully complete projects </li><li>Use mathematical and statistical methods to prove and model plans </li><li>Work closely with and favorably represent PCC with customers and suppliers </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum B.S. in electrical/mechanical engineering or related field </li><li>Minimum 3 years of related work experience </li><li>Minimum 1 years of project management experience </li><li>Experience working with or programming industrial equipment </li><li>Logical and analytic approach to problem solving </li><li>Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience working with Allen Bradley and Modicon PLCs </li><li>Understanding of hydraulic systems </li><li>Understanding of motion control systems </li><li>Knowledge of furnaces, pressure vessels, and other related foundry equipment </li><li>P.M.P. Certification </li><li>Understanding of electrical and safety circuit design concepts </li><li>Experience supervising other engineers and/or technicians </li></ul> <p>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
