<p>Akkodis is seeking an IDMC Developer for a Contract job with a client in Stamford, CT / Remote. The ideal candidate is an experienced Informatica IDMC Data Lineage Specialist with strong knowledge of metadata management, Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC), Axon, and PowerCenter.</p> <p>Rate Range: $53/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.</p> <p>IDMC Developer job responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Implement and configure Informatica IDMC lineage capabilities including metadata scanning, parsing, linking, and visualization. </li><li>Build and maintain end-to-end data lineage maps across databases, ETL platforms, cloud systems, and BI tools. </li><li>Partner with Data Governance, Data Engineering, and Business Teams to identify and onboard new metadata sources </li><li>Validate lineage accuracy, resolve lineage gaps, and document transformation rules for traceability. </li><li>Automate metadata ingestion from systems such as Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, Tableau, PowerCenter, and IICS. </li><li>Develop custom lineage parsers/connectors using APIs or Informatica SDKs when required. </li><li>Train business and technical users on accessing and interpreting lineage through EDC/UI. </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>6-8 years of experience in Informatica lineage, metadata management, or data governance roles. </li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC, Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC), Axon, and PowerCenter/IICS. </li><li>Excellent understanding of metadata ingestion frameworks, data lineage modeling, and catalog administration. </li><li>Familiarity with Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, Tableau, and cloud/on-prem data sources. </li><li>Experience using APIs or SDKs to build custom parsers and automation workflows. </li><li>Strong collaboration skills with ability to work across Data Governance, Data Engineering, and Business Teams. </li><li>Understanding of compliance/governance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and enterprise data standards. </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to train end-users and document processes. </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
