<p>Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Hartford, CT. The ideal candidate must have deep hands-on expertise with IIB/ACE, IBM MQ, and API frameworks to build message flows and develop resilient, high-performance integration solutions.</p> <p>Rate Range: $56/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.</p> <p>Engineer job responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Design and deliver large-scale enterprise integrations using IIB/ACE, IBM MQ, and complex message flows with robust error handling and performance tuning.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop APIs using REST, JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger, and manage full API lifecycle while ensuring backward compatibility.</p> </li><li> <p>Build and maintain Java and Spring Boot microservices that support enterprise integration and cloud-native architectures.</p> </li><li> <p>Implement integration patterns including synchronous/asynchronous messaging, publish-subscribe, and saga/compensation workflows.</p> </li><li> <p>Work with cloud platforms (Azure/GCP) to design container-based solutions leveraging services like AKS/GKE and CI/CD pipelines.</p> </li><li> <p>Design and optimize data interactions across MongoDB and relational databases, ensuring proper schema design, indexing, and integration performance.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.</p> </li><li> <p>10+ years of experience in integration engineering, with 5+ years specifically in integration architecture and large-scale enterprise integrations.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong hands-on expertise with IIB/ACE, IBM MQ, API design (REST/JSON/OpenAPI), and developing Java/Spring Boot microservices.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven experience designing cloud-native integration solutions using Azure or GCP, including containers, AKS/GKE, and CI/CD pipelines.</p> </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
