<p>Ensure safety of students and staff</p> <ul> <li>Assist in developing and maintaining an inventory of district owned hardware, software and related equipment and materials </li><li>Design and deliver professional development activities related to the integration of technology across the curriculum to improve teaching and learning </li><li>Develop and maintain a technology budget in collaboration with the Superintendent </li><li>Complete requests and reports related to funding of the district's technology services </li><li>Coordinate the distribution of computer hardware and software in the schools </li><li>Coordinate technology for all district-wide professional development </li><li>Maintain respect at all times for confidential information </li><li>Interact in a positive manner with staff, students and parents </li><li>Promote good public relations </li><li>Attend meetings and in-services as required </li><li>Manage and maintain the system network </li><li>Collaborate with outside agencies to secure service contracts and resources for the district related to technology </li><li>Assist with the implementation of online testing </li><li>Lead the district technology committee </li><li>Collaborate with the district staff in EMIS reporting as needed </li><li>Assist with curriculum development and implementation as it relates to instructional hardware and software </li><li>Assist in the set up and the implementation of streaming for all events Other Duties and Responsibilities: </li><li>Share and use information with Board, administration staff and community </li><li>Assist the Superintendent with the development of policies and procedures relating to technology </li><li>Make contacts with the public with tact and diplomacy </li><li>Serve as a role model for students </li><li>Respond to routine questions and requests in an appropriate manner </li><li>Research and write grants related to securing technology for the district </li><li>Research and stay abreast of current trends in educational technology </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent Qualifications: </li><li>Five to ten years related experience preferred </li><li>Two or four-year college degree or equivalent experience in related field preferred </li><li>Such alternative to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: </li><li>Ability to work effectively with others </li><li>Ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively both orally and in writing </li><li>Effective, active listening </li><li>Organizational and problem-solving skills </li><li>Extensive knowledge of computer networks </li><li>Novice, up-to-date knowledge of computer-related technology and equipment APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Applicants must submit a letter of interest, resumé, and related materials to: Andrew Sprang, Superintendent 295 State Highway 231, Sycamore, OH 44882 andrew.sprang@mohawklocal.org </li></ul>
