<p>Communicates effectively with Site Lead and Facility Manager to determine service needs. Coordinates and supervise client sub-contractors while performing service on site.</p> <p>HVAC maintenance and repair skills. PM, troubleshoot and repair of all HVAC equipment as required. Assist the Team in maintaining, operating and troubleshooting the HVAC heating, ventilating, air conditioning, heat exchangers, chillers, air handling units.</p> <p>Building automation monitoring and adjustments.</p> <p>Respond to Hot & Cold area temperature complaints and make adjustments and repairs.</p> <p>Performs a wide variety of corrective maintenance work request along with various general maintenance type tasks. Monitors operation, adjusts and maintains refrigerant, heat exchangers, HVAC equipment and systems, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment; boilers, pumps, valves, piping and filters; other mechanical and electrical equipment; records readings as necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment and makes adjustments where necessary to assure proper operation of equipment and notifies appropriate parties of any problems or malfunctions.</p> <p>Assist other skilled employees to perform projects as requested.</p> <p>Perform service, testing, inspections, troubleshooting and installations on facility fire safety systems with a focus or expertise on fire extinguishers and AEDs. Test and inspect facility fire safety systems as part of preventive maintenance program. Assist in testing, maintaining, and performing light repairs on the fire protection system.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education</p> <p>(HS Diploma, Under/Graduate Degree, etc.)</p> <p>HS Diploma</p> <p>Business Experience</p> <p>6-10 years of experience related to HVAC facility maintenance.</p> <p>Licenses/Certifications</p> <p>Valid US driver's license</p> <p>EPA approved CFC certification is required. Journeyman license preferred.</p> <p>Language Skills</p> <p>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.</p> <p>Technical Qualifications & Skills</p> <p>Ability to perform various general type maintenance tasks. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence utilizing basic computer skills and ability to communicate via email including general internet use.</p> <p>Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to mentor less experienced technicians</p> <p>Knowledge of chiller operations (centrifugal) and various HVAC equipment</p> <p>Must have BAS (Building Automation System) experience and working knowledge of energy management systems</p> <p>Knowledge of chilled water systems, heating systems, boilers, fan coil units, pumps and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC controls and operating systems as scheduled.</p> <p>Knowledge of raised floor computer room systems including CRAC Units.</p> <p>Organization skills to maintain the client facility maintenance records and reports.</p> <p>Time management skills to coordinate and supervise the client sub-contractors while on site and manage to complete the daily routine tasks assigned.</p> <p>Notice to prospective employees: There have been fraudulent postings and emails regarding job openings.
