<p>MISSION:</p> <p>The mission of BAC is to provide persons with disabilities innovative services and opportunities to achieve personal success.</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>Perform custodial duties at our designated site in an efficient and effective manner. Reports to the site custodial leadership team.</p> <p>EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <p>The list of essential functions below is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within this job. Other duties may be assigned based on business need.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform custodial work according to the specified contracted methods of cleaning.</p> </li><li> <p>Cleaning responsibilities include:</p> </li><li> <p>removal/disposal of trash</p> </li><li> <p>cleaning of offices including dusting, vacuuming, and/or sweeping</p> </li><li> <p>cleaning of restrooms including mopping, disinfecting, cleaning mirrors, partitions, toilets, and sinks</p> </li><li> <p>stock paper and soap supplies</p> </li><li> <p>Properly dispose any hazardous waste material</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain supplies and equipment under established procedures</p> </li><li> <p>May be required to set up and break down tables and chairs for special events</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other specified custodial tasks as requested</p> </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>No minimum experience required </li><li>Must be able to pass a background screening for access to the work areas </li><li>Must pass a pre-employment drug test </li><li>Must be authorized to work in the U.S. </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:</p> <ul> <li>None </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Prior custodial work experience preferred </li></ul> <p>In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.</p> <p>OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to work harmoniously in a team environment with a diverse workforce </li><li>Work at a reasonable pace for the job duties assigned and physical ability </li><li>Good communication skills (e.g., able to effectively respond to common inquiries or complaints) </li><li>Able to follow basic instructions with or without a reasonable accommodation </li><li>Reasoning Ability: Able to identify issues or problems, evaluate and draw valid conclusions. </li><li>Attentive to detail for quality performance. </li><li>If required to drive, a current drivers license and clean driving record required. May be required to drive personal vehicle during work hours. Not all individuals will have to drive for this position. </li></ul> <p>TRAVEL:</p> <p>None.</p> <p>WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE (IF APPLICABLE):</p> <p>Must be authorized to access and work on site.</p> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Requirements will vary depending on the assigned tasks. This position does require the following: repetitive lifting, push/pull, carrying, walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and prolonged standing. Will involve lifting/moving up to 40 pounds. Reasonable accommodations, when practical, can be offered to accomplish the above requirements</p> <p>SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Tasks are regularly performed inside without exposure to adverse environmental conditions (e.g., dirt, heat, cold, rain, fumes). </li><li>Will need to use any personal protective (safety) equipment as designated properly and consistently. </li><li>Involves exposure to hazardous materials (i.e., cleaning solutions and bio-waste hazards). </li><li>Required inoculations and training provided by the company. </li><li>Some tasks may be performed independently with little supervision. </li></ul> <p>SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Some tasks require manual dexterity, in addition to visual and hearing acuity.</p> <p>Availability</p> <ul> <li>Full Time Nights/Weekends/Holidays </li><li>Must have a flexible schedule. Must be able to work nights, holidays, and weekends </li><li>Rate of Pay: $17.75 </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Free medical insurance for employees, and a buy-up option is available. </li><li>Medical opt-out plan is available for qualified employees. </li><li>Paid holidays and sick time. </li><li>Paid vacation is available after one year of employment based on the number of hours worked. </li><li></li></ul>
