<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Athletics/Activities/Activity Sponsor</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>7/21/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Carlisle High School</p> <p>&nbsp&nbspAdditional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>TITLE: Mock Trial Sponsor, High School</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Demonstrate aptitude for performing tasks listed</p> </li><li> <p>Must exhibit high moral values and be able to serve as a favorable example to young people</p> </li><li> <p>Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable</p> </li></ul> <p>REPORTS TO: High School Activities Director</p> <p>SUPERVISES: High School Mock Trial students</p> <p>JOB GOAL: To provide leadership, supervision and organization of the department and to carry out the objectives of the program.</p> <p>To include helping each participating student achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline and an increased level of self-esteem.</p> <p>PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Recruit an attorney to serve as judge at the competition and to help answer legal questions</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct team meetings and practices</p> </li><li> <p>Register team members for tournament</p> </li><li> <p>Keep parents and team members informed of scheduled practices and scrimmages</p> </li><li> <p>District rules and procedures of tournament</p> </li><li> <p>Instruct team members on proper trial decorum and appearance</p> </li><li> <p>Help students construct case theme and line questioning</p> </li></ul> <p>TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year to be established by the Board.</p> <p>EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated by the appropriate administrator.</p>
