Applications will be reviewed regularly.</p> <p>In this role, you'll be part of the team that keeps Wausau's transit system running smoothly by maintaining buses, facilities, and public spaces. Your work directly impacts riders' daily experience.</p> <ul> <li>Clean and detail transit buses (inside and out) </li><li>Maintain transit buildings, bus stops, and passenger shelters </li><li>Perform groundskeeping (mowing, snow removal, general upkeep) </li><li>Fuel and move transit vehicles safely </li><li>Record vehicle information and daily logs </li><li>Assist with basic maintenance and minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, etc. </li><li>High school diploma </li><li>Ability to obtain a Class B CDL with air brake & passenger endorsement </li><li>Ability to obtain a Federal Medical Card </li><li>Ability to perform physical work (lifting, bending, working in varying weather conditions) </li></ul> <p>Physical and Working Environment</p> <p>Limited exposure to disagreeable elements such as dirt, temperature fluctuations, and/or limited exposure to weather conditions. Limited travel within the City of Wausau.</p> <p>Normal mental and visual attention is required. Moderate physical demands typically found in service and maintenance work with moderate exposure to workplace hazards. Requires regular lifting, bending, twisting, turning, and use of power equipment. Ability to walk, stand, lay on ground, and work in extreme weather conditions.</p> <p>IMPORTANT!
