<p>Job Title Automation & Control Technology - Part-Time (Adjunct) Faculty Location Stebbins High School - Dayton, OH Job Number 05300 Department Automation & Control Tech Job Category Faculty Job Type Part-Time Status Regular Job Open Date 08/26/2025 Resume Review Date Ongoing Closing Date 12/31/2025 Open Until Filled No Position Summary</p> <p>The Sinclair Automation & Control Technology with Robotics department is seeking a skilled and motivated individual with hands-on experience in electromechanical systems to support our instructional and lab environments.</p> <p>Sinclair is currently seeking part-time (adjunct) faculty to teach face-to-face, Tuesdays/Thursdays (12:35 - 2:10 PM) at Stebbins High School with an immediate start date. This position description does not represent in any way a contract of employment. </li></ul> <p>Principal Accountabilities</p> <ul> <li>Plan and organize instruction in ways which maximize student learning </li><li>Prepare, distribute and submit syllabi for all assigned sections in accordance with department and divisional policies </li><li>Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies, use available instructional technology when appropriate </li><li>Modify, where appropriate, instructional methods and strategies to meet diverse student's needs </li><li>Support classroom and online efforts to promote student success </li><li>Evaluate and return student work in a timely manner to promote learning </li><li>Maintain accurate records of student progress </li><li>Submit final grade rosters according to established deadlines </li><li>Maintain confidentiality of student information </li><li>Cannot exceed maximum of 12 credit hours per semester </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of an associate's degree in a related field required; bachelor's degree preferred </li><li>Evidence of successful prior teaching experience preferred </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to improving student learning through innovative strategies shown to help students succeed at the course and program level </li><li>Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills with the capacity to work successfully in a culturally diverse college community </li><li>Demonstrated skills in using modern educational technology, including multimedia-based instruction </li></ul>
