Built on the tradition of "Picture Day", Lifetouch has captured the unique personalities of children and families for more than 85 years.</p> <p>In accordance with company money handling procedures, the Cash Hub Specialist (Seasonal position) is responsible for safeguarding and properly handling money as they check-in money bags, process and record payments and operate designated equipment.</p> <p>PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Proper handling of cash/check payments through processes including receiving, checking in cash for tracking purposes, opening of mail, extraction of payments, reviewing and recording variances, deposit preparation, check scanning, documentation and web-cash posting</p> <p>Ensuring efficient and accurate processing of all monies</p> <p>Counts coin/currency and scans checks with use of specialized equipment</p> <p>Prepares deposits and related deposit tickets for the bank</p> <p>Reports tamper bag receipt errors and training opportunities to Cash Operations Hub Lead</p> <p>Document variances and discrepancies</p> <p>Adheres to all Company cash Handling and PCI policies</p> <p>Bundling checks and cash, placing the bundles into the appropriate money bags, and securing and organizing money bags in appropriate locations (i.e., Vaults)</p> <p>Providing clerical support as necessary including computer knowledge and use, typing, filing, boxing, photocopying</p> <p>Demonstrates care and concern for the safety and health of self and others by promoting and modeling all safety rules and guidelines</p> <p>MINIMUM GENERAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>High School diploma or equivalent</p> <p>Proven payment processing experience: 1 to 2 years preferred</p> <p>Proven computer skills including using spreadsheet applications, word processing and some form of database preferred</p> <p>Strong organizational skills</p> <p>Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills</p> <p>Supporting a diverse and inclusive workforce is important to Shutterfly not only because it directly reflects our value of Embracing our Differences, but also because it's the right thing to do for our business and for our people.
