<p>General Summary</p> <p>Responsible for preparing and serving a fresh and inviting presentation of the daily complimentary breakfast, giving a friendly greeting to each guest at breakfast and providing superior service to guests.</p> <p>Principal Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet in an attractive and abundant-looking, organized clean and standardized presentation. </li><li>Extends a friendly greeting to each guest at breakfast. </li><li>Provide personalized service to all guests. </li><li>Take inventory of food, beverages and other supplies needed for each day. </li><li>Order or purchase food supplies. </li><li>Prepare foods such as cut fruit, coffee and juices etc. </li><li>Stock, coffee, juice and milk containers. </li><li>Set up serving dishes, utensils, cups and other paper/china products. </li><li>Set out/arrange cold food such as sweet rolls, muffins and cereal for self service. </li><li>Warm and set out/arranging hot food such as hashbrowns, frenchtoast, etc. </li><li>Clear and clean tables as they are vacated. </li><li>Wipe up spills. </li><li>Sweep, mop and vacuum kitchen and dining areas. </li><li>Remove trash. </li><li>Periodically restock self-service food and supplies as needed. </li><li>Wash china, flatware and serving equipment and return it to storage. </li><li>Return reusable food supplies to storage. </li><li>Organize and put away food order. </li><li>Comply with health department rules and regulations with respect to handling, preparing </li></ul> <p>and storing food.</p> <ul> <li>Perform additional assignments as required. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred. </li><li>Must be able to develop an understanding of concepts, practices, pre-established guidelines and procedures used by the company in relation to guest service. </li><li>Must be able to communicate effectively, be polite, courteous, and responsive to our guests. </li><li>Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner. </li><li>Must be organized and detail oriented. </li><li>Must be able to bend, lift, push, carry and pull up to 50lbs. </li><li>May require some reaching overhead, crouching, and twisting. </li></ul>
