<p>Posting Details</p> <p>Position Information</p> <p>Position Title Kinesiology Adjunct Faculty (Online/Remote) Position Summary</p> <p>The College of Health Science (CHS) at California Baptist University invites applications for adjunct faculty positions in the Department of Kinesiology. Review of applications is conducted in an ongoing manner according to need.</p> <p>Pay Range Qualifications</p> <p>Qualified applicants must have a graduate degree in kinesiology or a closely related discipline. Candidates must embrace the mission of California Baptist University, and evidence a clear understanding of, and commitment to, excellence in teaching through the integration of Christian faith and kinesiology related content.</p> <p>Teaching Responsibilities</p> <p>Teaching responsibilities in the undergraduate and graduate programs of Kinesiology. Specific course assignments will be dependent upon application qualifications and availability.</p> <p>Strong candidates will embrace and embody "active teaching" methods, including, but not limited to the following CBU online education requirements for instructors:</p> <p>? Creating weekly video or audio lectures embedded in each weekly module (CBU supports and equips faculty with access to Kaltura video content manager).</p> <p>? Creating at least 1x weekly agenda videos and/or descriptive written announcements to engage with and orient students to each week's agenda and/or assignments.</p> <p>? Constructive, personalized written comments/feedback on all graded assignments to identify strengths and areas for student improvement.</p> <p>? Adherence to the university "Regular Effective Contact" policy</p> <p>? Response to student inquiries within 24 hours.</p> <p>?
