The salary range for internal DAEOP to DAEOP candidates is $22.00 - $26.40 per hour. Click here for more information on compensation for these roles. </li><li>In addition to competitive compensation, DPS has other Total Reward offerings such as; time off, health and wellness benefits, and PERA Retirement. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Performs research, data management, and reporting on school based or department data needs, Organize, extract and input data/information using district applications and other network computer software, protect privacy, confidentiality, student and employee data according to FERPA and district policy </li><li>Monitor and track invoices and budget expenditures. Prepares and processes purchasing and accounting documents. </li><li>Compose and edit internal correspondence and documents. </li><li>Coordinate event and logistics for school or department. </li><li>Create tracking systems, updates department or school based procedures and processes. </li><li>May provide training and guidance to Office Support I and other staff as directed. </li><li>Respond to administrative requests. Provide information and assistance to various stakeholders which may include DPS employees, vendors, and community members. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent is required. </li><li>Three (3) or more years' experience in administrative/clerical work or combination of education and experience. </li><li>Knowledge with Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook. </li><li>Effective time management and organizational skills. </li><li>Effective communication skills. </li><li>Strong attention to detail. </li><li>Effectively handle multiple demands and competing deadlines. </li><li>The ability to take responsibility for one's own performance. </li><li>Work collaboratively with others on a team. </li><li>Aptitude for variety and changing expectations and fast-paced environment. </li><li>Ability to work effectively as member of team. </li><li>Ability to multi-task and complete work with frequent interruptions. </li><li>Ability to communicate clearly in both written and oral formats. </li><li>Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills. </li><li>Intermediate proficiency with MS Office and other computer software programs. </li><li>Bilingual skills may be required based on work location. </li><li>Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education. </li><li>Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us. </li><li>Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position. </li></ul> <p>Denver Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender expression, and sexual orientation), parental status, national origin, age, disability, genetic information (including family medical history), political affiliation, military service, or any other status protected by law or regulations.
