<p>The Federal Account & Proposal Manager serves as the operational backbone for our NESDIS, NOAA and NASA portfolio. This role ensures disciplined account stewardship, flawless proposal execution, and coordinated internal engagement across delivery, capture, and executive leadership teams.</p> <p>This individual will drive continuity across civil agency programs, maintain executive-level account visibility, and ensure on-time, compliant submissions that position the company for sustained growth.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Account Stewardship (NESDIS / NOAA / NASA)</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain ongoing engagement with program offices and contracting officials</p> </li><li> <p>Track agency budgets, acquisition plans, and recompete timelines</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure continuity across programs and line offices</p> </li><li> <p>Support executive relationship management</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate CRM records and account plans</p> </li><li> <p>Proposal Coordination & Execution</p> </li><li> <p>Own proposal calendar and submission timelines</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate technical, pricing, legal, and leadership inputs</p> </li><li> <p>Lead deal reviews for each opportunity securing approved deal margins</p> </li><li> <p>Support compliance matrix development</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure on-time, compliant submissions</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare internal and external briefing materials</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate any necessary tech reviews</p> </li><li> <p>Opportunity Support</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in qualification of new opportunities within NESDIS, NOAA/NASA</p> </li><li> <p>Support executives in pre-RFP shaping activities</p> </li><li> <p>Track partner relationships and framework agreements</p> </li><li> <p>Help structure teaming arrangements for civil pursuits</p> </li><li> <p>Internal Orchestration</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as primary internal point of contact for NESDIS, NOAA/NASA activities</p> </li><li> <p>Align delivery teams with capture teams during transitions</p> </li><li> <p>Track contract modifications and option year actions</p> </li><li> <p>Support post-award documentation and handoff</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>5 years experience in federal account management, BD support, or proposal coordination </li><li>Experience with NESDIS, NOAA, NASA, or similar civil agencies preferred </li><li>Working knowledge of FAR and federal acquisition processes preferred </li><li>Experience coordinating multi-functional proposal teams </li><li>Strong written and organizational skills </li><li>Ability to manage multiple concurrent opportunities </li></ul> <p>Soft Skills Necessary for Success:</p> <ul> <li>Detail-oriented and execution-focused </li><li>Calm under proposal deadline pressure </li><li>Comfortable interacting with government stakeholders </li><li>Collaborative across technical, pricing, and leadership teams </li><li>Disciplined in documentation and process </li></ul> <p>Performance Metrics</p> <ul> <li>Revenue retention across assigned accounts </li><li>On-time, compliant proposal submissions </li><li>Win rate contribution on supported opportunities </li><li>CRM hygiene and pipeline accuracy </li><li>Executive satisfaction with account support </li><li>Customer engagement cadence maintained </li></ul> <p>Spire operates a hybrid work model, and this position will require you to work a minimum of three days per week in the office.</p> <p>Access to US export-controlled software and/or technology may be required for this role.
