<p>Security Zone Officer</p> <p>Join our team at Securitas Security where you will have the opportunity to serve your community while receiving advanced training in safety and security. This position will give you the opportunity to gain knowledge in the various security solutions we provide to our clients, while learning multiple vacates of the business. In this role you will provide operational support to our cliental and District Managers at multiple locations.</p> <p>Pay Range: $19.29 per hour</p> <p>This officer will need to be available 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm, schedules are provided a week in advance and will be stationed at multiple locations.</p> <p>Location: Denver, CO and surrounding area - Multiple sites depending on needs</p> <p>Apply online: https://ekaw.fa.us2.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/CX</p> <p>Zone Officer Objectives:</p> <ul> <li>Provide security for short-term special security assignments. </li><li>Support staffing requirements at accounts during shortages due to vacations, call-offs, no shows, suspensions, holidays, etc. </li><li>Assist in start-ups at new accounts to include working the site, writing post orders and training checklists and training newly assigned permanent Security Officers. </li><li>Expect to work on weekends and holidays with limited notice, and work during "high need" periods. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, and unauthorized persons.</p> </li><li> <p>Writing detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Required to utilize rapid and effective judgment in responding to unusual or emergency situations using appropriate escalation of force level.</p> </li><li> <p>CPR, AED, and First aid certifications are a plus but are not needed for every site.</p> </li><li> <p>With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
