<p>Position Summary At Orlando Health Imaging Centers, our expert medical teams use advanced imaging tools that produce highly detailed images and precise results. Our facilities are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) for our staff qualifications, image quality, safety policies and quality assurance. Your screening exam will be evaluated by a board-certified radiologist, providing you with a timely diagnosis and setting you on the quickest path to treatment and recovery. Location: 10889 W. Colonial Dr, Ocoee, FL 34761 Responsibilities Essential Functions • Adheres to Orlando Health mission statement and strategic imperatives. • Directs and assistswith daily workflow ofthe Imaging team to include patientflow,supply ordering,staff assignments, and resolution of customer service issues. • Plans and prioritizes exam scheduling, and processing thatsupport the needs ofthe patients and physicians. • Ensures images meet the established Quality Control standards. • Provides input to supervisor for evaluations/coaching plans. • Actively participates in departmental projects and process improvement initiatives. • Administers medical aid as required in cases of adverse reactions to contrast medication and/or other emergencies. • Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures as outlined in the technologist job description. • Complies with all state and federal regulations applicable to the modality with responsibility for MRI safety. • Demonstrates proficiency in contrast medication administration with and without use of power injectors. • Performs venipuncture and evaluates IV access for contrast administration as prescribed by a licensed practitioner. • Applies principles of MRIsafety to patients,self, and others. • Ensuresthe safety of all customers. • Maintainsreasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies, procedures, department guidelines, and education requirements. Qualifications Education/Training Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Licensure/Certification • Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. • Maintains current BLS/Healthcare provider certification. • Valid Certified Radiologic Technologist licensure by the State of Florida is preferred.
