<p>Position Overview:</p> <p>As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for providing daily leadership and support to distribution associates with varying levels of responsibility and job functions. The Supervisor is responsible for clearly and thoroughly communicating job expectations, ensuring proper training is provided, and maintaining high levels of accountability and follow through. The Warehouse Supervisor is fully responsible for safety, quality, departmental efficiency, customer service, scheduling, sanitation, payroll/overtime, daily start-up meetings, and any other related distribution activity within their department.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Oversees and drives the day to day performance of your team through leadership and interaction with all associates Drives for continual improvement in all safety-related responsibilities through warehouse operations Coach a team of highly motivated associates and provide daily feedback on performance and propose solutions Ability to define and communicate to your team the daily objectives, long-term strategies, and changes in procedural processes Effectively work with peers on people development and building cross-functional teams Flexibility to work various shifts, as needed including evenings, weekends, and holidays Able to work with suppliers, 3PL operations, transportation, and internal customers on the best possible solution for the business and company initiatives Use various metrics to analyze performance results Provide regular performance updates to the senior leadership team Perform other duties as assigned by leadership</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>Preferred: One (1) year of Distribution related experience Preferred: Supervisory experience of mid to large team sizes - 15+ hourly associates</p> <p>Preferred: Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems such as but not limited to: Voice recognition technology (VoCollect), Employee Management systems (Dayforce/Ceridian), WIMS,E-mail, Voice mail etc</p> <p>Preferred: Proficiency in English (written and verbal) to effectively communicate with associates and leadership</p> <p>Schedule:</p> <p>TBD Based on business needs 4 day work week Flexibility required to work weekends, evenings and holidays</p> <p>Compensation:</p> <p>$70,000 - $72,000</p> <p>Environment:</p> <p>Varying temperatures based on assigned working environment Warehouse Grocery - Approx 50<em>F - 90</em>F Warehouse Perishable - Approx 26<em>F - 60</em>F Warehouse Freezer - Approx 0<em>F to -20</em>F</p> <p>Skills:</p> <p>Safety Culture: Maintain and drive safety policies to all associates; driving for accountability of safe practices throughout shift Physical abilities: May be required to lift up to 75lbs; Ability to stand or walk at least 10 hours daily; working in various temperature controlled environments; the ability to operate required material handling equipment - getting on and off equipment throughout shift Strong communication Skills: Ability to provide & receive constructive feedback; communication of expectations and directions clearly Building a team based environment: Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation and team-building skills; inclusive decision making Project Management: Results driven regarding implemented KPI's/Metrics; willingness to participate in continuous improvement projects; managing multiple deadline based projects Quality: Maintain integrity and high standards of product handling from all perspectives</p>
