The instructor is primarily responsible for general healthcare related content areas. Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes.</p> <p>What you will be doing</p> <ul> <li>Teaches in lecture and laboratory settings </li><li>Evaluates and advises students </li><li>Participates in departmental and College affairs </li><li>Develops curricula </li><li>Recruits students </li><li>Serves on committees </li></ul> <p>What you need to succeed</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Health Science, Nursing or Allied Health discipline (e.g., Dental Hygiene; Diagnostic Medical Sonography; Physician Assistant; Dietetics; Medical Technology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy; Radiography; Respiratory Therapy; Speech Language Pathology); or Associate's degree in a Healthcare field (e.g., Dental Hygiene; Diagnostic Medical Sonography; Dietetics; Emergency Medical Services; Medical Assisting; Medical Technology; Occupational Therapy; Physician Assistant; Physical Therapy; Radiography; Respiratory Therapy; Speech Language Pathology); and Valid licensure or certificate in the above-referenced Allied Health or Healthcare fields; and 3 years of full-time work and/or instructional experience in field </li><li>All educational degrees must be from regionally accredited institutions </li><li>Possess excellent and effective communication skills (written and verbal) </li><li>Possess basic computer skills </li><li>Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community </li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule which may include morning, evening and/or weekend assignments </li><li>Must be able to travel between campuses, clinical sites and off-campus offering sites </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Preferences</p> <ul> <li>For best consideration upload your unofficial transcripts along with cover letter and resume.
