<p>About the Position: The Manufacturing Technician role serves as an introduction to the cGMP manufacturing industry. This position supports daily operations at a cGMP facility through routine and non-routine tasks that are essential to continuous manufacturing.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform cleaning of equipment, glassware washing, setup and filtration assembly, buffer/media preparation, autoclaving, and filter integrity testing. </li><li>Manage process waste flows, material movement, and execute inventory control tasks. </li><li>Handle and properly discard hazardous and nonhazardous waste. </li><li>Maintain accurate documentation in electronic systems in compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and policy documents. </li><li>Support manufacturing operations through staging materials, discarding waste, moving equipment, and other general cleanroom duties. </li><li>Use computers for training compliance and job-related tasks, including ordering and stocking supplies. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment & Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must adhere to a shift schedule and wear full PPE; cleanroom gowning is required. </li><li>Must maintain training compliance of 95% or higher. </li><li>Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and reaching overhead. </li><li>Essential personnel status-availability required during site closures (e.g., inclement weather) to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations. </li><li>Flexibility to stay beyond scheduled hours when needed to support non-routine cleanings or meet production deadlines. </li></ul> <p>About KBI: KBI Biopharma is a global contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) that helps biotech and pharma companies develop and manufacture biologic drugs.
