For you, working with us can mean deeper job satisfaction, better rewards, and a great quality of life inside and outside of work.</p> <p>Job Title:</p> <p>Sr. Industrial Engineer/Lean Practitioner</p> <p>Reporting To:</p> <p>Manager, Bus Unit Operations</p> <p>Work Schedule:</p> <p>Onsite - Niagara Falls, NY</p> <p>To be considered for the Industrial Engineer role, here is what you will need to bring with you:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical area.</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of 10 years' experience within the manufacturing industry including at least two of the following qualities, lean implementation, continual improvement, and manufacturing engineering.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, and communicating project plans and schedules to include critical project milestones.</p> </li><li> <p>Proactive in identifying issues and problems which impact project performance, and in taking appropriate actions to resolve these issues and recover cost and schedule, in a timely manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Plan, coordinate, and manage the preparation and conduct of presentation materials for internal and customer meetings and reviews.</p> </li><li> <p>Leadership of cross-functional teams across disciplines ranging from procurement, engineering, test, operations, and quality.</p> </li><li> <p>Lean/Six Sigma/Continual Improvement certification a plus.</p> </li><li> <p>This position requires a full physical which includes bloodwork and Pulmonary Function testing</p> </li></ul> <p>As a Sr Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Process Improvement - Analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.</p> </li><li> <p>Using Lean principles for both our NF facility and any future local facilities as this project ramps:</p> </li><li> <p>Lead facility planning for product build and flow!</p> </li><li> <p>Identify required facility needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Storage and Inventory Management Planning</p> </li><li> <p>Layout and movement of in-process stock, sub-assemblies and other WIP</p> </li><li> <p>Lead material flow and layout planning!</p> </li><li> <p>Lead workshop and activities as necessary or the above</p> </li><li> <p>System Design - Design new systems and workflows that integrate various elements of production, such as equipment, labor, and information.</p> </li><li> <p>Ergonomics - Optimize work environments to ensure worker safety and productivity, considering human factors in design.</p> </li><li> <p>Data Analysis - Collecting and analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Quality Control - Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure products meet standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Inventory Management - Develop and implement strategies for efficient inventory control and management.</p> </li><li> <p>Supply Chain Management - Design and optimize supply chain processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Project Management - Plan, execute, and oversee projects to implement process improvements and new systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaboration - Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and management, to achieve common goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Communication - Effectively communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to stakeholders.</p> </li></ul> <p>How we care for you:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Financial Rewards: great compensation package, annual profit sharing, matching 401k and the ability to participate in Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts</p> </li><li> <p>Work/Life Balance: Flexible paid time off, holidays and parental leave program, relocation assistance</p> </li><li> <p>Health & Welfare: Comprehensive insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, Employee Assistance Plan ("EAP") and other supplemental benefit coverages</p> </li><li> <p>Professional Skills Development: Tuition Assistance, mentorship and coaching opportunities, leadership development and other personal growth programs</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborative and Welcoming Workplace: Inclusive culture rooted in our values, enhanced by Employee Resource Groups, and team-building activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Additional site-specific benefits may be offered</p> </li></ul> <p>#LI-DJ1</p> <p>Salary Range Transparency:</p> <p>Niagara Falls, NY $100,000.00-$135,000.00 Annually</p> <p>Salary Range Disclaimer</p> <p>The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
