We welcome your interest in joining us and look forward to meeting you!</p> <p>POSITION: Business Office Coordinator</p> <p>LOCATION: District Central Office</p> <p>START DATE: Immediate</p> <p>SALARY: $33.87/hour</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>Provides high-level administrative and clerical support to the Director of Business and Business Office. This role supports financial operations, budgeting, reporting, and coordination of key district functions.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in preparation of financial reports, budget documents, and enrollment projections </li><li>Support development, production, and coordination of the annual budget process </li><li>Monitor and track Business Office budget accounts and expenditures </li><li>Manage billing and reporting for tuition-based programs and other revenue sources </li><li>Coordinate contracts, bids, and RFP processes for district services </li><li>Reconcile accounts, including school activity funds and vendor services </li><li>Process purchasing card transactions and generate financial reports </li><li>Assist with insurance claims, accident reporting, and related correspondence </li><li>Support transportation reporting and bus route coordination </li><li>Maintain district website content and assist with public communications </li><li>Provide general administrative support, including meeting coordination and office assistance </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience </li><li>Minimum of five (5) years of administrative experience, preferably in a business or finance setting </li><li>Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel </li><li>Experience with school district financial systems or operations preferred </li><li>Familiarity with web content management and basic design tools preferred </li></ul> <p>APPLICATION: Interested candidates are invited to apply online through the following link:</p> <p>www.applitrack.com/newtown/onlineapp</p> <p>NOTE: 3 CURRENT LETTERS OF REFERENCE ARE REQUIRED</p> <p>The Newtown Public School District is committed to a policy of equal opportunity/affirmative action for all qualified persons.
