Responsible for forecasting, streamlining costs, supplier performance and inventory management our supply chain teams provide invaluable knowledge on how we flex our business to meet requirements.</p> <p>We currently have a great opportunity in our Services Spares Supply Chain and hiring for a Planner, Service Supply Chain, responsible for developing and managing supply plans for service-related products, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of these critical items. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and an understanding of supply chain dynamics, particularly in the medical device industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of optimizing supply plans, managing inventory, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve business goals.</p> <p>This is a hybrid role based out of Newark, DE.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Supply Planning:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement supply plans that align with demand forecasts, service requirements, and inventory targets for service products. </li><li>Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient availability of service products. </li><li>Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as capacity constraints, supplier issues, and potential disruptions. </li></ul> <p>Inventory Management:</p> <ul> <li>Optimize inventory levels for service products to balance service levels, working capital, and cost efficiency. </li><li>Implement and maintain inventory policies, including safety stock, reorder points, and lead times specific to service products. </li><li>Monitor inventory performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Collaboration and Communication:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including service operations, sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to align supply plans with business objectives. </li><li>Communicate supply chain performance and potential issues related to service products to stakeholders, providing recommendations for resolution. </li><li>Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability across all functions. </li><li>Present findings and supply plans during Supply Reviews and IBP Meetings. </li></ul> <p>Process Improvement:</p> <ul> <li>Identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes for service products and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. </li><li>Lead or participate in supply chain projects and initiatives related to service products to support business growth and operational excellence. </li></ul> <p>Data Analysis and Reporting:</p> <ul> <li>Analyze supply chain data for service products to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. </li><li>Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain performance for service products. </li><li>Prepare and present regular performance reports and dashboards. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. </li><li>Minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, or a related field, preferably in the medical device industry. </li><li>Ability to influence across functions and organizations. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in supply chain planning tools and software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis). </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. </li><li>APICS certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus. </li></ul> <p>The annualized base salary range for this role is $77,900 to $121,800 and is bonus eligible.
