Your work will enhance strategic planning, improve portfolio insights, and support high-quality decision making through advanced modelling, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.</p> <p>As Part of Our Team, You Will</p> <ul> <li>Build and maintain strategic evaluation models that integrate financial modelling tools, optimization platforms, and the Strategic Resource Development (SRD) database. </li><li>Manage the SRD database and deliver high-quality analytics and visualizations using tools such as Power BI and PowerApps. </li><li>Conduct detailed analysis on asset development pathways, performance metrics, and strategic options to inform recommended Resource Development Strategies. </li><li>Develop and implement cost and capital models in collaboration with site and functional teams. </li><li>Monitor site performance and identify improvement opportunities to include in integrated strategic plans. </li><li>Partner with Exploration, Studies, Projects, FP&A, mine planning teams, and other key stakeholders to align analysis with business needs. </li><li>Support improvements to enterprise optimization platforms by integrating financial models, portfolio tools, and SRD data. </li><li>Supporting the Integrated Masterplan process roll out. </li><li>Supporting ongoing effectiveness reviews and sharing best practice application of Integrated Masterplan process across the business. </li></ul> <p>Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. </li><li>Extensive experience in strategic planning, financial modelling, portfolio management, and data analytics-preferably in mining, energy, or similar industries. </li><li>Advanced proficiency with financial modelling, data visualization tools (Power BI), database management, and analytics platforms. </li><li>Strong commercial skills, including budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting. </li><li>Ability to manage competing priorities, work across functional teams, and communicate complex insights clearly. </li><li>Experience building collaborative relationships with both technical and business stakeholders. </li><li>Experience in effectively working in an operational site context </li></ul> <p>Your Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>You will work within Newmont's Technical function, partnering closely with Resource Planning, FP&A, Mine Planning, Operations, and external consultants. </li><li>The role involves a mix of analytical work, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional coordination. </li><li>Travel to domestic and international sites may be required, sometimes to remote mining or project environments. </li><li>Role can be based out of Denver, Perth, Brisbane, Vancouver hubs </li></ul> <p>We understand no candidate will meet every single desired qualification. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
