<p>Overview</p> <p>Seeking a mechanically inclined, and safety-oriented night shift mechanic. This position is responsible for heavy duty diesel maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on trucks and trailers.</p> <p>Roles & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Repair and rebuild significant components such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. </li><li>Identify, and troubleshoot intermediate mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in construction equipment. </li><li>Perform scheduled maintenance tasks including fluid changes, filter replacements, and inspections to ensure equipment remains in good working order. </li><li>Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities. </li><li>Identify and determine parts required for repair of disassembled units. </li><li>Adhere strictly to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Policies, Programs, & Procedures Manual and MSHA/OSHA standards while wearing proper PPE. </li><li>Utilize specialized tools and equipment for diagnostics and repairs.
