<p>About the Job</p> <p>The Technological Leadership Institute (TLI) at the University of Minnesota occasionally needs to hire employees on a temporary and/or casual basis throughout the year. These positions perform a variety of non-academic and/or academic work responsibilities in a temporary or casual work schedule. Appointments are based on need, funding, and performance.</p> <p>This is a standing posting to remain open throughout the 2025-2026 academic year. This does not constitute a posting for vacancies but establishes a pool of applicants should an opening occur. Applicants will be selected from this pool on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year and will be contacted if they are being considered for an open position.</p> <ul> <li>Temporary: Limited to 67 or fewer days of work in a calendar year. </li><li>Casual: Limited to working 14 or fewer hours per week; are not limited to 67 days of work in a calendar year. </li></ul> <p>Duties may include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with CSE/TLI faculty and/or research staff to facilitate ongoing projects </li><li>Gather and analyze data to help facilitate project deliverables </li><li>Coordinate with project stakeholders </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required</p> <p>Educational, certification, and work experience requirements are based on, and cannot exceed, the qualifications for work performed in comparable UMN job classifications.</p> <p>About the Department</p> <p>The Technological Leadership Institute (TLI) is an interdisciplinary center at the University of Minnesota established in 1987 by an endowment from the Honeywell Foundation.
