<p>External:</p> <p>Company: Connecticut Natural Gas</p> <p>Department: Gas Operations</p> <p>Job Title: Analyst - Gas Control</p> <p>Location: Milford, CT</p> <p>Work Model: Office</p> <p>The salary range for this position is dependent upon experience, ranging from $78,091.20 to $97,614.00.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Gas Control analyst supports the daily operation of the Gas Control Center and compliance with associated Control Room Management Regulations</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develops, reviews and implements procedures to maintain compliance with Control Room Management (CRM) regulations (Federal Code 49 CFR 192.631). </li><li>Coordinates activities between operations, engineering, and SCADA support to ensure that all CRM guidelines, processes and procedures are followed and properly documented. </li><li>Utilizes tracking system as necessary to assure compliance with regulatory activities. </li><li>Creates reports for management to track compliance activities to assure deadlines are met. </li><li>Documents and coordinates review of Gas Control operational procedures. </li><li>Ensures records are complete, accurate and retained in accordance with record retention policies. </li><li>Implements processes and creates documentation for any new updated regulations and industry recommended practices. </li><li>Prepares for and participates in regulatory audits. </li><li>Develops and trains Controllers in CRM compliance activities. </li><li>Assists in identifying, recommending, and implementing best practices across AVANGRID gas control rooms. </li><li>Supports the control room budgetary process by creating PR/POs and tracking budget expenses against targets. </li><li>Works independently and with a team on assigned projects. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Excellent written, communication and presentation skills. </li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office & other PC applications. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret regulatory documentation </li><li>Ability to multi-task. </li><li>Ability to work independently & within a team. </li><li>Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines. </li><li>Education/Experience </li><li>Bachelor's degree or Associates degree with 3 years relevant experience preferred (utility industry or regulatory compliance or audit experience). </li><li>Ability to understand technical processes and create compliance documents </li><li>Proficient with MS Office suite, in particular Excel. </li><li>Experience using SharePoint </li><li>Prior experience in regulatory compliance preferred. </li><li>Experience with SCADA systems </li></ul> <p>Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Growth & Continuous Improvement </li><li>Initiative & Change </li><li>Focused on Results </li><li>Customer Centric (internal and/or external) </li><li>Communication </li><li>Collaboration </li><li>Leadership (people managers/leaders) </li></ul> <p>Company:</p> <p>CONNECTICUT NATURAL GAS CORPORATION</p> <p>Mobility Information</p> <p>Please note that any applicant who is not a citizen of the country of the vacancy will be subject to compliance with the applicable immigration requirements to legally work in that country.</p> <p>At Avangrid we provide fair and equal employment and advancement opportunities for all employees and candidates regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, protected veteran status or any other status protected by federal, state, or local law.</p> <p>If you are an individual with a disability or a disabled veteran who is unable to use our online tool to search for or to apply for jobs, you may request a reasonable accommodation by contacting our People and Organization department at careers@avangrid.com.</p> <p>Avangrid employees may be assigned a system emergency role and in the event of a system emergency, may be required to work outside of their regular schedule/job duties.
