<p>Sr Manufacturing Engineer</p> <p>The Manufacturing Engineer develops and improves manufacturing processes for mechanical components and assemblies, driving SQDCI performance and supporting both new and existing products. The role leads process optimization, cost-reduction efforts, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design and validate manufacturing/assembly processes using 3D modeling and lean principles. </li><li>Lead NPI manufacturing tasks and ensure processes meet geometric and quality requirements. </li><li>Estimate cycle/setup times and develop control plans, inspections, and standard work. </li><li>Specify materials, tooling, fixtures, and methods; collaborate with CNC and operations teams. </li><li>Resolve process issues, support PFMEA, implement engineering changes, and reduce waste/cost. </li><li>Improve productivity, safety, throughput, and existing processes. </li><li>Communicate with suppliers and internal teams; meet KPIs and update processes as needed. </li><li>Support continuous improvement and perform additional manufacturing engineering duties. </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Permanent position based out of Elk Grove Village, IL.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.</p> <p>Great Internal Benefits.
