<p>MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN</p> <p>Work Hours: Sunday through Thursday 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Add'l Hours as Needed)</p> <p>The Maintenance Technician's role involves ensuring maximum equipment reliability by executing maintenance tasks to keep equipment in pristine condition and reduce downtime. Using advanced skills and expertise, they perform preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, make repairs, and pinpoint areas for supply chain automation improvement. They also contribute to Operational Excellence and Automation Systems, adhere to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles, and take ownership of the Maintenance Excellence process within their plant.</p> <p>What are we looking for?</p> <p>Education and Professional Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical field </li><li>Technical training; exposure to high-speed equipment </li><li>Basic blueprint and schematic reading </li><li>Electrical and electronic principles </li><li>Industrial Controls Principles </li></ul> <p>Knowledge/Experience</p> <ul> <li>Experience with automated conveyor systems and controls </li><li>Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards </li><li>Experience with robotic operation/maintenance </li><li>Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics. </li><li>Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve, maintain, and repair complex mechanical and electrical components and systems. </li><li>Must be flexible to work weekends and other shifts as needed. </li><li>Able to work well independently, self-motivated, and as a team member. </li><li>Able to meet the physical requirements of the position requiring heavy lifting up to 100 lbs., carrying tools and supplies, kneeling, stooping, climbing, and standing on feet for long periods of time. </li></ul> <p>What will be your key responsibilities?</p> <ul> <li>Understands and follows safety policies and procedures. Performs all tasks safely and does not take risks as it pertains to safety. Leads by example. </li><li>Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical and mechanical aspects of Material Handling Equipment on site, including conveyor systems, carton erectors, case sealers, scales, printer applicators, robotics, and pick-to-light systems </li><li>Adjust scanners, cameras, field buses, scales and printer applicators </li><li>Reset, repair, or replace adjustable components (belts, chains, cables) and wearing components (guides, bearings, wheels, rollers, pulleys). </li><li>Clean, lubricate and calibrate equipment </li><li>Maintain and troubleshoot motors, photo eyes, relays, proximity sensors, solenoids, motor starters, tachometers, encoders, etc.. </li><li>Assist with basic electronics/Programmable Logic Controls troubleshooting. </li><li>Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of industrial robots </li><li>Develops knowledge base of different systems within the Distribution Center </li><li>Precision welding based on the required application. </li><li>Operate material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery and other powered equipment </li><li>Technically skilled to maintain, troubleshoot, repair mechanical and electrical equipment. This includes a strong understanding of lubrication principles and ensuring the proper lubrication is applied to equipment. </li><li>Technically skilled to Improve Reliability of mechanical and electrical equipment. </li><li>Assists in identifying opportunities to improve equipment inspection, lubrication and hard to access areas for new equipment installs and for current equipment. </li><li>Can understand overall equipment operation/function and applies to maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and reliability of equipment sub-components. </li><li>Installs/troubleshoots/repairs AC and DC drives/motors. </li><li>Fabricates and installs various electrical, piping, pneumatic and mechanical equipment. </li><li>Adhere to Nom Nom work rules, GMPs, Safety processes, procedures and rules as well as; comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules. </li></ul> <p>What can you expect from Nom Nom?</p> <ul> <li>Join a passionate, courageous, and authentic team </li><li>An innovative, inclusive, and collaborative environment </li><li>An industry-competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus </li><li>Associate Discount </li><li>401K with a match to 4% </li><li>Paid holidays and vacation </li><li>Formal training and opportunities for career progression </li></ul>
