<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a System Admin in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>System Admin will install, configure, and maintain operating systems and application software </li><li>Maintain and optimize network infrastructure, server hardware, virtualization environments, and storage systems </li><li>Assist and support the planning and execution of upgrades, migrations, and new deployments across on prem and cloud environments </li><li>Monitor system performance and ensure high levels of uptime and reliability </li><li>Perform routine backup and recovery operations for critical data and systems </li><li>Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing exercises </li><li>Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various platforms </li><li>Troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity </li><li>Apply operating system and application patches, updates, and security fixes </li><li>As a System Admin, you will create and maintain up-to-date documentation for system configurations and procedures </li><li>Provide user support and training for basic system functionality and best practices </li><li>Assist in capacity planning, resource allocation, and technology refresh efforts </li><li>Other duties as assigned* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field </li><li>Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, CCNA, CompTIA Security) are a plus </li><li>3-5 years of proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role </li><li>Strong knowledge of enterprise-level infrastructure, system administration, and cybersecurity best practices </li><li>Proficiency in virtualization technologies </li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment </li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously </li><li>Valid driver's license is a plus </li><li>Visa sponsorship is not available for this position </li></ul>
