We aspire to be the best solution for the Industrial customers' needs for MROP products and services through our Innovative Pumping Solutions, Metal Working, Supply Chain Services and Service Centers.</p> <p>Check out our many videos to learn more! http://www.dxpe.com/about-us/careers/</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>Under the direction of the Sales VP, the Sales Professional will develop strategic plans and forecasts for accounts, communicate effectively internally and externally, resolving customer issues proactively, grow and maintain sales territory, identify new sales opportunities, understand customer visions and supply chain objectives to provide proactive solutions, build relationships with decision makers, exceed sales goals and provide routine cost savings reports.</p> <p>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Develop strategic plans and accurate forecasts for assigned accounts </li><li>Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers, proactively resolving complex issues </li><li>Develop and manage the assigned sales territory </li><li>Grow and maintain both new and existing customer accounts </li><li>Stay current on industry trends and product knowledge related to metalworking </li><li>Identify new sales and service opportunities within the territory </li><li>Provide solutions to customer challenges using company products </li><li>Understand customer objectives, including operational and supply chain initiatives, and proactively offer solutions </li><li>Build and expand relationships with key decision-makers within customer organizations </li><li>Demonstrate a customer-focused approach with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals and delivering cost savings </li><li>Prepare and present routine cost-savings reports, with customer validation when possible </li><li>Maintain strong process discipline and organizational practices </li><li>Provide monthly DXP reports for key accounts, highlighting service issues, competitive activity, customer initiatives, and cost savings </li></ul> <p>Qualifications include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience in industrial products </li><li>Strong customer service mindset </li><li>Proficient in computer applications </li><li>Highly organized and detail-oriented </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Experience developing proposals and delivering solutions </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities </li><li>Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision </li><li>Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships, including repeat and add-on business </li><li>Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record per company guidelines </li></ul> <p>#LI-TS1 #ZRTS</p> <p>Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>Physical Demands: N/A </li><li>Working Conditions: Combination of office work and travel to customer locations </li><li>Training/Certifications: None required </li><li>Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM </li><li>Travel: Occasional </li><li>Education: High school diploma or equivalent </li></ul> <p>Location: USA:OK:Tulsa</p> <p>DXP offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time regular employees, normally working a minimum of 30 hours per week, including: medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, paid holidays, life and disability insurance, and additional supplemental benefits.
