<p>We are seeking a Director of Continuing Education and Workforce Development (CE&WD) who is responsible for overseeing program development, implementation, and evaluation to meet community education and workforce training needs and actively foster community relationships to support the College's role as an anchor institution. This is a full-time administrative position which reports to the Dean of Continuing Education and Workforce Development.</p> <p>Example of Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Identify, develop, implement and evaluate non-credit and continuing education programs that address the needs of the local workforce and community </li><li>Manage the day-to-day operations of programs and provide operational oversight </li><li>Collaborate with staff and college partners to ensure high-quality programming that promotes student success and aligns with college goals and strategic plans </li><li>Develop connections and collaborations between non-credit and credit programming along academic and career pathways </li><li>Support the development of workplace experiential learning through apprenticeships and internships </li><li>Provide leadership in the recruitment, hiring, training, supervision and performance evaluations of department staff </li><li>Direct the development and scheduling of promotion, marketing, and publicity for programs and events </li><li>Conduct program assessments and evaluations to determine program effectiveness and inform future programs </li><li>Collaborate with the College's grants office and external stakeholders to secure funding and develop industry partnerships to support program opportunities and innovation </li><li>Assist in the development and management of program budgets </li><li>Utilize data to assess program outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions about program changes and resource allocation </li><li>Oversee the completion and submission of required reports </li><li>Actively participate in college and community committees to foster partnerships, educational opportunities, and student success </li><li>Other related duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree required </li><li>Minimum five years of program management experience, including supervisory experience required </li><li>Knowledge of workforce development needs, labor market trends, and workforce development strategies required </li><li>Experience with grant writing and grant-funded programs a plus </li><li>Ability to work some evening and weekend hours, as programs require </li><li>Willingness to travel within the state is required </li></ul> <p>The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.</p> <p>Compensation: Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications.
