<p>WPHL-TV is hiring!.</p> <p>WPHL-TV/CW is hiring an energetic & dynamic on-air Co-Host/Reporter for a daily hour-long lifestyle show launching in Philadelphia this fall.</p> <p>The show will highlight local businesses and events happening throughout the Delaware Valley to help promote our brand - We Are Philadelphia.</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Delivering live lifestyle and entertainment content for TV and Digital every weekday </li><li>Conducting compelling interviews and engaging demonstrations with guests and clients, both in studio and on location </li><li>Assists in writing, researching, and coordinating content. </li><li>Actively participate in daily content meetings. </li><li>Knowledge of current events, pop culture, and community connections. </li><li>Contributing their best ideas in content discussions and pitch meetings </li><li>Researching show topics and developing questions for guests in coordination with the Executive Producer/Co-host and producer. </li><li>Working closely with the Executive Producer/Co-host, Producer, Creative Services Producers, as well as the Sales & Marketing teams to put on the best show day-in and day-out </li><li>Writing stories and posts for the show's website and social media pages </li><li>Participating in community events to help promote the show and the station </li><li>Assisting sales department on presentations, including meeting with clients, as needed </li><li>Other duties as assigned by Creative Services Director. </li></ul> <p>Requirements & Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience </li><li>Minimum one year On-Air hosting or reporting experience in a live production environment </li><li>Must be a highly motivated self-starter, able to work alone and as part of a team </li><li>Ability to write stories for on-air and the web </li><li>Ability to shoot and edit stories a huge plus </li><li>Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Premiere. </li><li>Knowledge of ENPS </li><li>Knowledge of Wordpress is a plus </li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Software, especially Outlook and Microsoft Word </li><li>Demo reel of previous hosting/reporting experience required (no exceptions). </li></ul>
