Working as a member of a business development team with the Executive Vice President (EVP), this executive is responsible for building deep and broad relationships with school districts in targeted markets. This role requires the ability to navigate the financial, operational and academic performance issues in a thorough and fair manner. Extensive travel throughout Illinois is expected given the hands-on nature of the selling process.</p> <p>? Responsibilities Include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Exhibiting strong identification, buy-in and passion for the mission of high-quality education.</p> </li><li> <p>Developing and managing related business development plans for the assigned region in order to deliver on established revenue goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Leveraging strong knowledge of relevant lines of business to seize cross channel selling opportunities as they arise.</p> </li><li> <p>Utilizing corporate CRM software to track leads/projects, contacts, account development and pipeline specifics.</p> </li><li> <p>Identifying and establishing strong relationships with key decision makers within targeted states and school districts.</p> </li><li> <p>Managing and executing service contracts which includes but is not limited to:</p> </li><li> <p>conducting evaluations of district needs</p> </li><li> <p>performing return-on-investment (ROI) analyses</p> </li><li> <p>persuading key decision makers to support the sell-in process</p> </li><li> <p>negotiating contract parameters</p> </li><li> <p>obtaining final contract approvals</p> </li><li> <p>Working closely with peers and leadership to share best practices and support the EVP in large scale initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensuring that all referral contact information is updated and the outcome of each activity with the referral is properly recorded.</p> </li><li> <p>Structuring workload and workflow independently to maximize productivity, generally out of a home office and/or on the road.</p> </li><li> <p>Displaying excellent human relations skills as judged by intellect, communications ability, approachability, and integrity.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintaining a schedule of periodic contact (service calls/visits) with current and previous customers to inquire about satisfaction and/or need for additional services.</p> </li><li> <p>Scheduling and coordinating travel activities to maximize the promotion of company services at the most efficient cost possible.</p> </li><li> <p>Keeping EVP informed as directed regarding development, progress, and modifications of strategic business development plans for assigned region.</p> </li><li> <p>Performing other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>? Qualifications Required:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field of study. </li><li>Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. </li><li>Exhibiting confidence in cold calls and/or meetings with individuals of all levels to initiate dialog regarding their job and ChanceLight services available. </li><li>Highly skilled in customer engagement and effective communication tactics. </li><li>History of success building credibility, making quick decisions, delivering fast results and demonstrating resilience and persistence to get things done. </li><li>Demonstrates self-confidence, focuses on execution, and finds motivation in their impact to the organization. </li><li>Collaborative team player who is innovative, intellectually curious, and can operate successfully among very bright and charismatic people. </li><li>Embraces feedback, continuous learning and is committed to ongoing self -improvement. </li><li>Highly self-motivated and works well in a score card culture of clear responsibility and accountability driven by metrics and data. </li></ul> <p>ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is the nation's leading provider of alternative and special education programs for children and young adults.
