<p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Grants Administrator is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of grants for the community health center, including federal, state, local, and private funding sources. This position ensures compliance with all grant requirements, supports grant writing and reporting, and collaborates with program, finance, and clinical staff to ensure timely execution, reporting, and stewardship of all grants aligned with the mission and strategic priorities of the health center.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Grant Management & Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Prepare, write, and complete H80/Section 330 of the Public Health Service Act Service Area Competition grant in compliance with HRSA guidelines and standards and all subsequent reports. </li><li>Oversee administration of all awarded grants from pre-award to post-award stages. </li><li>Maintain a centralized grants calendar to track deadlines for applications, reporting, and renewals. </li><li>Ensure compliance with grant terms, conditions, and federal regulations including HRSA, UDS, and Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200). </li><li>Coordinate with program staff to ensure that grant-funded activities are implemented as intended. </li><li>Work with finance to track expenditures, monitor budgets, and ensure appropriate use of grant funds. </li><li>Develop and draft scopes of work, schedules, budgets, needs statements, and evaluation plans for grant applications packets. </li></ul> <p>Grant Reporting & Communication</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and submit interim and final grant reports in coordination with program and finance teams. </li><li>Gather programmatic and financial data to demonstrate impact and outcomes. </li><li>Maintain records and documentation to support audit readiness. </li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for funders regarding reporting, compliance, and site visits. </li></ul> <p>Grant Proposal Development</p> <ul> <li>Support the identification of new funding opportunities aligned with organizational needs. </li><li>Assist with or lead the preparation of grant proposals, applications, and required attachments. </li><li>Draft narrative content, gather supporting documents, and coordinate internal reviews for timely submissions. </li></ul> <p>Cross-Department Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with clinical, operational, and administrative departments to understand program needs and funding priorities. </li><li>Lead or support grant-related meetings, including kickoffs, progress updates, and closeouts. </li><li>Other duties and tasks as assigned by the CEO. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of 3 years' experience in a field related to grants administration. </li><li>Experience with HRSA or other federal grant programs (strongly preferred). </li><li>Familiarity with FQHC regulations, budget management, and programmatic compliance </li><li>Requires knowledge and understanding of research, program design, development of measurable objectives, and evaluation methodology in health care. </li><li>Excellent written communication skills demonstrating a command of technical, storytelling and marketing language; including the ability to write persuasively, clearly and concisely and to blend information from multiple sources into a single, effective document. </li><li>Ability to read, understand, summarize, and synthesize complex topics, data sets, and processes in a clear, straightforward manner. </li><li>Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously. </li><li>Ability to interpret and analyze statistical data other data found in reports relevant to programs or projects and connect the statistical data to the goals and objectives of the proposed projects. </li><li>Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting. </li><li>Must demonstrate excellent internal and external customer service skills. </li><li>Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of patient privacy act rights. Maintains confidentiality of all medical, financial, and other sensitive materials and information in printed, electronic, or verbal form, which may jeopardize the privacy of patients and/or employees. </li><li>Must demonstrate personal and professional commitment to the mission of Open Cities Health Center and its mission. </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Primarily office-based with frequent interaction in clinical settings. </li><li>Occasional travel required for site visits, meetings, and conferences. </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. </li></ul>
