<p>Hiring Department</p> <p>School of Nursing</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The Clinical Coordinator provides comprehensive support for clinical education across both undergraduate (pre-licensure) and graduate (advanced practice) nursing programs. This role ensures high-quality clinical placements, compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, and cultivation of strong partnerships with healthcare agencies.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop, manage, and evaluate clinical placement processes for all nursing students across pre-licensure BSN and APRN graduate tracks. </li><li>Identify, approve, and maintain relationships with clinical agencies and preceptors. </li><li>Match students to appropriate clinical sites based on program level, learning needs, accreditation requirements, and site availability. </li><li>Ensure placements meet state board of nursing, CCNE/ACEN, and certification-body standards. </li><li>Monitor student compliance with onboarding requirements. </li><li>Serve as the primary contact for students regarding placement processes. </li><li>Recruit, orient, and support preceptors for BSN and APRN programs. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of clinical hours, site information, and evaluations. </li><li>Collaborate with program leadership to ensure clinical experiences support outcomes. </li><li>Manage staff responsible for compliance and other related responsibilities. </li><li>May travel for site visits. </li></ul> <p>Shift</p> <p>Core business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Extended hours may occur during peak cycles or during travel for site visits.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 6 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>BSN required; MSN preferred </li><li>Active RN license </li><li>Minimum 3-5 years clinical nursing experience </li><li>Knowledge of undergraduate and graduate nursing educational requirements </li><li>Experience with UG and GR nursing students </li><li>Familiarity with clinical management system. </li><li>Knowledge of CCNE/ACEN accreditation standards </li></ul> <p>Anticipated Hiring Range</p> <p>Salary Range: $86,000 to $91,450 annually</p> <p>Grade: PAT - 012</p> <p>University Title: Associate Director Student Support Services</p> <p>Internal applicants can determine their university title by accessing the Talent Profile tile in myHR.</p> <p>Application Materials</p> <p>Letter of interest, Resume/CV, and References</p> <p>Other Information</p> <p>Please note that all selected candidates must pass a background check, drug screening, and meet health requirements, with any job offer contingent on the results.</p> <p>Benefit Eligibility</p> <p>This position is eligible for University benefits.
