<p>Hiring Department</p> <p>Registrar</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The role of the Records and Registration Coordinator is to coordinate the processing of various student records functions, such as special enrollments, adds/drops/withdrawals, revision of records, residency, back up for refund appeals, transfer of divisions, transcript fulfillment and diploma production. This position oversees the responses to telephone calls and email/ticket submission. This staff member serves as a leader for other team members and assists with the supervision of student workers, ensuring excellent customer service. This staff member assists with student information and related systems testing as well as process improvement.</p> <p>The ideal candidate</p> <ul> <li>Understands how the team integrates with others to accomplish team objectives </li><li>Reviews, analyzes, and processes information as directed </li><li>Provides solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on practice and existing precedents or procedures </li><li>Impacts the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of the team </li><li>Explains detailed information/ regularly interacts with both internal and external parties </li></ul> <p>Shift</p> <p>M-F, 8-5 (40 hours/week)</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated familiarity with MU records, registration, curriculum management and/or scheduling processes and policies </li><li>Experience in higher education registrar or student records office(s) or in related offices such as academic advising, curriculum management, provost, cashiers, financial aid or admissions </li></ul> <p>Anticipated Hiring Range</p> <p>Salary Range: $17-$19 hourly</p> <p>Grade: GGS-007</p> <p>University Title: Student Support Specialist II</p> <p>Internal applicants can determine their University title by accessing the Talent Profile tile in myHR.</p> <p>Application Materials</p> <p>Cover letter and resume highlighting relevant education and experience.</p> <p>Community Information</p> <p>Columbia offers small-town friendliness with big city features and a high quality of life for people of all ages and interests.
