This position will primarily consist of design and construction engineering efforts on a variety of transportation projects for State, County, and Local Agencies. This team-orientated position will include working with Baxter & Woodmans diverse disciplines and offices.</p> <p>What your day-to-day will look like, what you will learn on the job</p> <ul> <li>Design Roadway, Underground Utility, and Infrastructure improvements using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other applicable design software. </li><li>Conduct drainage, traffic, and various engineering studies. </li><li>Complete general civil engineering services for municipal, county and state clients. </li><li>Complete engineering plans and specifications using WisDOT Standards. </li><li>Process Federal Aid projects for a variety of clients. </li><li>Assist with construction engineering services for municipal, county and state clients. </li><li>Assist project engineers and managers with a wide variety of tasks required for project delivery. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirement</p> <ul> <li>B.S. degree in Civil Engineering </li></ul> <p>Must-haves, what you will bring</p> <ul> <li>Relevant internship/co-op experience with municipal or highway agency transportation projects. </li><li>Ability to travel throughout Baxter & Woodmans service area (own transportation). </li><li>Ability to independently handle a variety of ongoing tasks and responsibilities. </li><li>Strong written, verbal, computer, and organizational skills. </li><li>Work within a team-first culture that encourages individual development and accomplishment of goals. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Anticipated F.E. (Fundamentals of Engineering) certification. </li><li>Knowledge of designing roadway and underground improvements with Civil3D or Bentley OpenRoads Designer. </li><li>Experience with Geopak. </li></ul> <p>Compensation The pay range for this role is $74,000 to $77,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications.</p> <p>You matter!
