This role is responsible for managing Service Technicians, ensuring timely and effective equipment maintenance and repairs, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.</p> <p>This position is ideal for a mechanically inclined leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at problem-solving, and is passionate about developing teams and driving operational excellence.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>Leadership & Team Management</p> <ul> <li>Lead, coach, and develop a team of Service Technicians to achieve performance, safety, and service goals </li><li>Manage scheduling, workload distribution, and route efficiency for service calls </li><li>Conduct ride-alongs, performance reviews, and ongoing training to ensure technician success </li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations </li></ul> <p>Service Operations</p> <ul> <li>Oversee preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of vending and breaktime equipment </li><li>Monitor service call completion, response times, and overall service quality </li><li>Assist with complex repairs and technical troubleshooting as needed </li><li>Ensure proper inventory levels of parts and equipment across service vehicles and warehouse </li></ul> <p>Customer Experience</p> <ul> <li>Build and maintain strong relationships with client locations </li><li>Respond to escalated service issues and ensure timely resolution </li><li>Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to ensure service excellence </li></ul> <p>Operational Excellence</p> <ul> <li>Maintain accurate reporting on service performance, equipment trends, and technician productivity </li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and efficiency gains </li><li>Ensure vehicles, tools, and work environments are clean, organized, and safe </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school preferred </li><li>2+ years of experience in equipment service, maintenance, or a related field </li><li>Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred </li><li>Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills </li><li>Experience with refrigeration systems is a plus </li><li>Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and up to 100 pounds occasionally </li><li>Must be at least 21 years old (DOT requirement) </li><li>Valid driver's license with ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card </li><li>Ability to work in varying environments including warehouses, customer sites, and outdoors </li><li>Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills </li><li>Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check </li></ul> <p>What We Offer</p> <ul> <li>Paid Vacation after 6 months </li><li>Seven Paid Holidays per year </li><li>Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance </li><li>401(k) Matching Program </li><li>Competitive Pay </li><li>Career Growth Opportunities within Five Star </li></ul> <p>Why Join Five Star?</p> <p>At Five Star, you're more than just an employee - you're part of a team that keeps America fueled throughout the day.
