<p>We are seeking an hourly Full Time Produce Supervisor for our Balducci's location.</p> <p>Responsibilities for Internal Candidates</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests in selecting items, including cross-selling and up-selling </li><li>Product knowledge/merchandising </li><li>Computer skills </li><li>Financials </li><li>Supervise department associates. Assign and follow up on tasks and counsel associates on work related issues. Develop associates through timely, constructive and effective feedback. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills </li><li>Knowledge of controlling perishable product quality and inventory </li><li>Knowledge of ordering and inventory systems </li><li>Utilizing all ordering/receiving systems </li><li>Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards as required. ServSafe training a plus. </li><li>Ability to work for long periods of time in the cold; ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds </li></ul> <p>"Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00"</p> <p>"Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. "</p> <p>Qualifications for Internal Candidates</p> <p>The ideal applicant will have at least 3 years of relevant professional and management experience working within the Produce departments in a food retailer and demonstrate excellent product knowledge. This candidate must have supervisory skills.</p>
